SCHOOL RULES & Regulations
Attendance and Punctuality
Timely Arrival: Students must arrive before the bell rings, or they will be sent home.
Leave and Sick Leave: Any leave must be reported to the principal, and medical certificates are required for illness-related absences.
If the child is unwell or has any emergency, parents must inform the school through a written application or call.
Long absences (more than three days) require medical proof in case of illness.
No Leave During Exams: Students are not allowed to take leave during examination periods.
Change in address– Parents must update the school about any change in address or contact details immediately.
School communication– School communication (notices, circular, etc ) will be send via WhatsApp. Parents are expected to check and respond promptly.
Uniform and Personal Hygiene
Proper Uniform:Students must wear neat and correct uniforms and maintain proper grooming (e.g., haircuts, trimmed nails).
Weekly Checks:Regular inspections will be conducted to ensure compliance.
Identification:All personal belongings (including tiffin boxes, bottles, napkins, etc.) must be clearly marked with the student’s name, class, and section.
Items to Bring
Almanac and Identity Card: These must be carried daily.
Prohibited Items: No mobile phones, electronic gadgets, jewellery, fancy watches, non-textbook materials (such as toys, magazines, etc.), fancy hairstyles, or sharp objects are allowed. Any such items found will only be returned to parents after a penalty of ₹1000.
Lunch: Only healthy food is allowed. Avoid sending junk food, chocolates and aerated drinks. A half-hour lunch break is strictly observed. Birthdays should be celebrated in a simple manner, and parents are advised to avoid sending cakes.
School Property
Respect for School Property : Students are expected to avoid damaging school property (furniture, walls, charts, books). Any damage, whether intentional or accidental, should be reported immediately, and fines may be imposed.
School Conduct and Behaviour
Discipline : Misbehaviour, bullying, or any violation of school rules (including bunking) will result in stern disciplinary action, such as suspension or rustication.
Visitor Policy : Parents and guardians are not permitted to enter classrooms without permission from the principal or coordinators.
Exams and Promotion
Promotion Criteria : Students will be promoted based on their academic performance and overall attendance. Regular work and exams will contribute to the final decision.
Final Results : Once declared, exam results will not be reconsidered.
Health and hygiene
Sick students should stay at home to prevent the spread of illness.
Parents must inform the school about any medical conditions’ allergies or special needs.
Teach personal personal hygiene habits like washing hands, keeping nails short and wearing clean uniforms.
Safety and Security
Parents must drop off and pick up their children on time. In case of delayed pick-ups (which are not frequently allowed), the class teacher should be informed in advance.
For early pick-ups, parents should send a note in the diarymentioning the pick-up time. The student must inform the class teacher and get it verified in the morning.
In case of an emergency, parents must collect a gate pass from the main office and wait for 10-15 minutes, as it takes time for the student to arrive. Parents should not go directly to their child’s classroom. A maid will accompany the child in case of early departure.
Any safety concerns must be reported immediately to the school office.
PTM and parental involvement
Parents are expected to attend all the PTMs and be involved in their child education.
Constructive feedback is always welcome, but concerns should be addressed respectfully through proper channels
Parents should encourage positive interaction between students and teachers.
Fee payments
Fees must be paid on time as per the school fees structure and schedule. i.e. by the 5th of every month.
Late fee payments may attract a penalty as per School rules
Miscellaneous
No Personal Vehicles:Students are not allowed to bring their own motorized vehicles to school.
Loss of Articles:The school will not be responsible for any lost articles. Parents may check the lost property box for lost items.
Escort and Leave Policy:
Students who come to school with attendants will only be sent home with the individual mentioned in the escort form.
Students going on leave must inform the coordinators and class teachers in advance.
Students who have been absent due to sickness must submit a medical certificate upon returning to school.
Taking leave during exams is strictly prohibited.
